Textbook: Fall 2005

This year, students will have an option for their textbook purchase for our introductory level Astronomy 1001, 1005 and 1011H courses. You can purchase /*EITHER*/ the actual textbook (~$90, which includes on-line access to the E-book through the publisher, Pearson Custom Publishing), *OR*, you can purchase on-line access to the E-book alone (~$43).

Instructions to Access the E-book
To purchase the E-book you have to visit the bookstore:
The envelopes with the E-book access information are being held behind the cashier counter at the Coffman Union Bookstore. The cashier counter is to the right just inside the bookstore front doors and students need to ask the cashier for the E-book envelope in order to make the purchase.

Then you can go online and follow these intructions:
1. Go to: http://wps.pearsoncustom.com/pcp_cosmicconnection_1452/
2. If this is your first time accessing the site, click on [Register] to Register your access code and create a login name and password. Then follow the instructions on the subsequent registration screens. After you complete the registration process, you will receive an email containing all of your login information.
3. If you have already registered, enter your login name and password and click [Log In]
4. If you have questions, click on the question mark or [Need Help?] at the bottom of the page.
5. For additional technical/product support, visit our 24/7 Pearson Product Support site at http://247.support.pearsoned.com/email/index.asp. There, you can use the Knowledge Base for troubleshooting or find contact information for Product Support.

NOTE: Any error message you see (displayed in red) specifically identifies the problem. Please read it closely for helpful information. When contacting Product Support, be prepared with the error message to help expedite a resolution to the issue.
