1) An Adjustment score (Adj) was added to some lab sections, where necessaryy, to accommodate the differences in grading styles.
2) In order to receive a passing grade in the class, you must get at least 50% of the total available lab points (110/220) AND at least 50% of the total available essay points (60/120).
3) You must take all three exams in order to receive consideration for a passing grade for the entire class.
4) You must receive a grade of 'C-' or better to receive a passing grade of 'S'.
