Astronomy – Spring 2009 – End of Term Summary
Astronomy 1001
1) In order to receive a passing grade in the class, you must have at least: 50% of the total available weekly Lab points (120/240) AND, 50% of the total available Observational Project points (70/140).
2) You must take all three exams in order to receive consideration for a passing grade for the entire class.
3) You must receive a grade of 'C‑' or better to receive a passing grade of 'S'.
4) If you have questions about your LAB or OBS scores, contact your LAB TA.
5) Students who were in lab sections #101, 109, or 116 received 8 points added to their total to account for the difference in grading styles.
